At what age should I start a class with my baby? Right now! Babies learn music the same way they learn language; by being immersed in it and being surrounded by models. Just as it is never too early to start speaking with your baby, it's never too early to start singing to and dancing with your bab
Maybe you’ve noticed that your baby responds when you play a song in the car or sing to soothe him. Babies are naturally musical—and you don’t have to be a great singer or dancer yourself to nurture their love of music. In your music class, your Music Together® teacher will show you how you can support your baby’s music development through simple and fun activities. You’ll learn lots of musical ways to connect with your little one through music, and you’ll bond with the other new parents in your class, too.
“My daughter was a colicky baby who was difficult to soothe. Although she was held, rocked, crooned, and sung to constantly, nothing seemed to help . . . until the 'Hello Song' entered our lives. The 'Hello Song' could immediately stop crying spells, even if just for a short time, and other songs from the Tambourine collection had a similar effect! We were immediately hooked!” —Nicole Y.
Join us for class with your baby and set him/her on a path to a lifetime of music enjoyment---and start building friendships with other parents in your neighborhood.
At Music Together Beyond the Hub, we realize that new moms need to get out and get connected so that's why we offer this special option for babies under 4 months in any of our classes that have availability. You are welcome to join us as often as you like, for free (up until 16 weeks). Just use the "Free trial" option and put "Infant under four months" in the comments. And if something comes up, it's OK. We understand how unpredictable babies can be! Please select the class that works best for your babies schedule. If, however, you already know that you want to attend for the full session, and receive the home materials from the beginning (CD, Illustrated Songbook and Download Codes) please contact Vicki so we can pro-rate your tution. You can also register (at a pro-rated amount) after your baby hits four months, and receive your materials at that time. There is no commitment or pressure on you to enroll at any time. We're happy to share our fabulous program for as long as you're able to make it! You are also welcome to just try out a free class at any time.
