The first years are critical in your child's development and this is the perfect opportunity to get involved in your child's growth since our curriculum supports social, cognitive, physical and musical development.
First offered in 1987 and now internationally recognized, Music Together is the premier early childhood music program that emphasizes play as a vital component in your child's learning.
Music Together classes build on your child's natural enthusiasm for music and movement. Our research and educationally-based classes help nurture your child's musical, social, emotional, cognitive, and, of course, musical growth. They also nurture creativity, self-expression, and confidence.
Music Together's participatory approach get's everyone involved in the educational process. Our approach is based on the recognition that all children are musical and can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat, and participate with confidence in the music of their culture.
We're serious about having fun!
Just because we are research based and our curriculum is based on educational principles, doesn't mean we don't have fun. We sing and dance, play instruments and get silly together. And the good news is that you don't have to do any of it well...you just need to do it and have fun.
By engaging in actual music experiences rather than learning about specific musical concepts, Music Together introduces children to the pleasures of making music instead of passively receiving it from CDs or TV or entertainment. Children learn best from the powerful role model of parents/caregivers who are actively making music. Music Together of Wellesley and Needham brings families together by providing a rich musical environment in the classroom and by facilitating family participation in spontaneous musical activity at home within the context of daily life.
We're high touch. Face to face, heart to heart, voice to voice-for a truly bonding and enriching experience.
